Three days of learning, connection and celebration.

To mark 30 years of EO Queensland, Chapter Advance 2027 leaves the mainland. Three days of learning, connection and celebration set against the lagoon at Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay and a full day on the private island of Malamala Beach Club.

Chapter Advance is one event where the whole chapter steps out of the business together. Fiji gives us the space to do that properly: no commute, no early exits, and a program built around fireside conversation as much as the main stage.

The package is designed to remove decisions. Accommodation, every meal, the island day, learning sessions, your adventure afternoon and hotel transfers are all covered in one registration. Your only job is to get on the plane.

30years of EO Queensland, celebrated with a party on the Tuesday night

The program at a glance

Four days, one arc. Arrive and settle on Sunday, reset on the island Monday, do the work Tuesday and celebrate that night, then close out Wednesday morning and head home. Select a day to see how it runs.

Sunday 21 March

Arrive, register, and settle in over dinner

Land in Nadi, transfer to Momi Bay (about 45 minutes south of the airport) and check in. Registrations open at 5pm in the resort, followed by the Welcome Dinner for all registered members, partners and social ticket holders.

  • Group transfers meet the nominated Brisbane flight and run to the resort
  • Registrations open. Collect your lanyard, program and concierge details
  • Welcome Dinner and 30 years of EO Queensland opening remarks

Gold Coast travellers on the Saturday Fiji Airways service arrive a day early. Pre-event accommodation is available at the group rate.

Monday 22 March

A full day on Malamala, the world’s first island beach club

Malamala Beach Club sits on its own island in the Mamanuca group, a short boat ride from Port Denarau. The whole island is the club: white sand, an infinity-edge pool, cabanas, a Pacific-inspired kitchen and a reef you can snorkel straight off the beach. We have the island for the chapter.

  • Coach to Port Denarau and vessel transfer to Malamala
  • Fireside chats and open forum time, with snorkelling, kayaking and paddle boarding on hand
  • Return to Denarau Island. Dinner at private location

Non-motorised water sports are complimentary on the island. Bring reef-safe sunscreen, a hat and something to read in a hammock.

Tuesday 23 March

Learning in the morning, your adventure in the afternoon, then the 30th Anniversary Party

The main learning day. Keynote and breakout sessions run through the morning at the resort, then you choose your afternoon from a set of adventure options. The day closes with the 30th Anniversary Party, the centrepiece of the whole trip.

  • Learning sessions and fireside chats. Speaker line-up announced soon
  • Member-choice adventure. Options confirmed at registration
  • 30th Anniversary Party

Some adventure options carry age, fitness or capacity limits and may need a supplier waiver. Choose what suits you.

Wednesday 24 March

Closing session and farewell brunch, done by noon

A short closing session to land the week’s intentions, then a farewell brunch by the lagoon. The program concludes at 12 noon so the Brisbane group can make the afternoon Virgin flight home. Staying on? The concierge can hold your room at the group rate.

  • Closing session
  • Farewell brunch
  • Program concludes. Group transfers depart for the nominated Brisbane flight

Gold Coast travellers on the Thursday Fiji Airways service stay one extra night at the group rate.

Why this program

Chapter Advance is a different kind of experience. Four days, one arc, designed to elevate not just our businesses but our lives. Every speaker, every session, every setting is chosen with that intention.

Because the real shifts in EO don’t just happen from the main stage. They happen in the conversations that follow. In the room and out of it. Over dinner. On the walk back to your bure. That’s what this program is built around, and why the environment matters as much as the content on the schedule.

Queenstown set a high bar for what a Chapter Advance can deliver. Fiji is designed to clear it.

You’ll leave with

  • A sharper answer to the question you came in with
  • Two or three plays you can put into your business inside 30 days
  • Deeper connection across the chapter with fellow members, as well as within your forum
  • Conversations that keep working long after you land back home

Two places, chosen on purpose

A five-star resort with its own lagoon for the base, and a private island for the day that matters most.

Home base, three nights

Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay

Set on the south-west coast of Viti Levu about 45 minutes from Nadi Airport, Momi Bay is built around a large protected saltwater lagoon, so the water is turquoise whatever the tide. It is the only mainland resort in Fiji with overwater bures, arranged in a sweeping arc across the lagoon.

Registered members stay in Lagoon View or Lagoon Front king rooms. Upgrades to beachfront and overwater bures are available through the event concierge, subject to availability.

  • Three pools including an adults-only ocean-front infinity pool
  • Five dining venues, from Fish Bar on the point to Goji Kitchen
  • Quan Spa, dive and surf trips, and a private sandbar nearby
  • Turtles Kids Club and childcare for members bringing family

Monday, the whole day

Malamala Beach Club

Malamala is a small island in the Mamanuca group about half an hour by boat from Port Denarau, and the entire island is a beach club: white sand all the way round, a resort-style infinity-edge pool looking out over the Mamanucas, beachside cabanas and a healthy fringing reef.

It is small enough to walk around in twenty minutes and big enough for a chapter of entrepreneurs to spread out, talk, swim and come back together. This is where the fireside conversations happen.

  • Snorkelling, kayaking and paddle boarding included
  • Pacific-inspired kitchen and bar on the island
  • Flotation aids for anyone not confident in the water
  • Return coach and vessel transfers from Momi Bay arranged
