Tia Niarhos – MADD Operations Manager
I joined the EO Key Executive Program (KEP) about two years ago, and while it took me some time to truly settle into the experience, looking back, I can confidently say that it has been one of the most transformative steps in my personal and professional growth. Today, I’m gaining so much more than I ever expected from being part of this remarkable group.
The current KEP cohort is a fantastic group—positive, driven, and closer to my age, which has fostered a deeper connection and sense of camaraderie. This connection has been key to my own learning and development. For me, the turning point came when I realised that it’s not only okay, but actually powerful, to show vulnerability. By opening up and sharing my challenges, I discovered a renewed confidence in myself—something I had previously underestimated. I came to understand that true strength lies in being honest about your weaknesses, and that process of vulnerability has unlocked new layers of confidence and capability within me.
At the beginning, I wasn’t sure about dedicating time to the program. I questioned whether the 3-hour monthly meetings were worth the investment. But as I grew more involved, I began to see the immense value in taking that time for myself. I learned that it’s okay to step away from the business to invest in my own growth—and more recently, I’ve found that it’s also okay to take time off to rest and recover when needed.
Now, as I reflect on my journey with KEP, I see how far I’ve come. My group is thriving—we’re all committed to excellence, setting clear goals together, and have already mapped out a 12-month schedule for the year ahead. The process has not only deepened my professional relationships but also empowered me to be more intentional in my approach to both business and life.
The biggest lessons I’ve learned through KEP are: that I have more to offer than I ever gave myself credit for, that it’s okay to step away from the business to focus on personal growth, and that when things aren’t going as well as they should, there is incredible value in speaking up and seeking support.
When George, the founder of MADD, first recommended me for the program, I wasn’t sure it was the right fit for me. But looking back, I’m incredibly grateful to him and to EO for the opportunity to participate in this transformative program. The personal growth I’ve experienced has been profound, and I am excited to continue evolving as a leader, both within MADD and in my personal life.
Joining KEP wasn’t just about learning new business strategies—it was about discovering my own potential, embracing vulnerability, and unlocking a new level of self-confidence. This experience has truly been a catalyst for transformation, and I look forward to what the future holds as I continue to grow, both personally and professionally.
