The EO Event That Changed Everything

Kylie Breeze, Founder – Profit Foundry

In 2012, life was going well. Our business, Objective Experience, was thriving, and my partner and I were thinking about scaling. We had plans, but they weren’t yet real—they lived in the “someday” space.

Then, I went to dinner and met an EO member. One conversation turned into a connection, which turned into a decision: I joined the EO Sydney chapter. Not long after, I found myself at my first EO retreat—a four-day event that, without exaggeration, changed the course of my life.

At that retreat, the keynote speaker, Cameron Herold asked two questions that have never left me:

“What does your future business look like? What does your future life look like?”

Those questions hit something deep. We didn’t wait. We built a plan to expand into Asia. Within months, we explored the Singapore market, confirmed the opportunity, and opened a business—while keeping our Sydney office alive. In what felt like a heartbeat, we moved our family (including our four-year-old son) first to Singapore, then later to Bali, to be closer to the work and the life we were building.

All of it—every bold move, every leap of faith—was sparked by EO.

It’s hard to imagine where I’d be if I hadn’t joined. If I hadn’t gone to that retreat. If I hadn’t been asked to imagine my ‘painted picture’ and really define my future.

Now, I’m in a new chapter. I’ve taken everything I’ve learned from building successful businesses across Australia and Asia, and poured it into my new venture: Profit Foundry. It’s the business I wish I’d had back then—something that helps founders build not just revenue, but real profitability.

This isn’t just another business. It’s the next step in my transformation—and I see it as a chance to walk beside others on theirs.

Because transformation doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when someone asks the right question, in the right room, at the right time.

EO was that room for me.
